Background and goals

01 Challenge

Power opened a new electronics store in Tammisto, Vantaa. The goal was to attract significant attention and a large number of visitors to the grand opening.

How can Power's brand stand out from competitors? How can consumers be encouraged to spend time engaging with the brand both physically on-site and during a social media event?​ ​

02 Goal

The primary goal was to generate interest and hype for the Power Tammisto grand opening with standout pre-launch advertising while engaging the target audience of 18–35-year-olds in the Helsinki area with the Power brand.

Secondly, the aim was to create an attractive grand opening event that would draw a large crowd to the physical location as well as to the TikTok live stream. Alongside brand-driven activities, it was also essential to identify a strategic angle for tactical influencer marketing.

03 Insight

Many electronics and home appliance retailers adopt a similar, purely offer-driven approach to consumers. How can we stand out more effectively and enhance the impact of our message while still emphasizing low prices?

A brand-focused approach combined with tactical execution strengthens brand awareness and piques the target audience's interest in the brand's offerings when presented in an insightful and creative manner.​ ​

Solution – POWER Hintabotti Hunt!

​ The Hintabotti Hunt concept was designed to celebrate the opening of Finland's largest Power store in a way that stood out from the competition. In this narrative-driven execution, influencers Niko Saarinen and Julianna Jokela were tasked with finding the runaway Power Hintabotti together with consumers to ensure the grand opening could take place.​ ​

The pre-launch campaign featured an influencer-driven video series where the AR Hintabotti adventured through well-known locations in the Helsinki area. The materials were utilized across multiple channels in advertising, influencer platforms, and post-marketing, generating interest in the opening and engaging consumers. Indieplace also organized the grand opening event, where the concept was brought to life as the Hintabotti Hunt carnival area. Additionally, a TikTok live stream of the event was produced to further expand its reach.​ ​ ​
