In February 2024, Vaasan introduced an exciting new addition to the Finnish Street Food market: the Sub Sandwich.

As a completely new concept in this segment, it demanded both education and inspiration to engage consumers and showcase its versatility.

The objective was to develop a standout influencer concept tailored to the target audience and designed to drive maximum impact for the Sub Sandwich launch. ​

Secondarily, the aim was to boost the frequency of Street Food product consumption, encouraging broader engagement with the category.

The global sandwich trend was on the rise, driven by consumer demand for easy, satisfying, and delicious meal options.

As sandwiches grew in popularity, we aimed to engage forward-thinking influencers and trendsetters to help generate excitement around Vaasan's new product launch, positioning it at the forefront of this movement.​

Solution – Fill it your way!

A distinctive, audience-focused influencer concept was developed to showcase the Sub Sandwich's versatility and ease of use. Vaasan's new Sub Sandwich is more than just bread — it's a symbol of trendsetting and effortless deliciousness in any situation. Three rising influencers were chosen to drive the "Fill it your way" campaign, sharing creative content on TikTok and Instagram and demonstrating diverse ways to enjoy the product.​
